This was our first time to the Carroll Canyon trail system.
We had just enough time for a short loop with an extension to some nice views of Sedona from the Old Post Trail. There wasn’t much shade on this hike. It’s always great to try somewhere new, but it wasn’t very interesting. The whole loop around Carroll Canyon awaits for another day.
